MANILA, Philippines — Rain will continue in some parts of Luzon on Thursday, while generally, fair weather is forecast in the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, said the Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren, the northeast monsoon and the shear line will continue to bring rain and cloudy weather in Cagayan.
Mimaropa and Bicol Region will also experience the same weather due to the intertropical convergence zone.

(But there are possibilities of light rains due to the northeast monsoon.)
The entire Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience “improving weather” with hot and humid conditions expected in the morning till noon and only isolated rains in the late afternoon and evening.
Meanwhile, the low-pressure area currently being monitored by Pagasa was last located 1,010 kilometers east of Mindanao and is expected to enter the country’s area of responsibility either Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
(Currently, there is a low chance that it will become a typhoon, but it can bring rain in the Visayas and other parts of the Bicol Region in the coming days.)
