MANILA, Philippines — The Las Piñas City police has filed complaints in opposition to Negros Oriental Board Member Kurt Matthew Teves, son of third District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. after the previous beat up a subdivision safety guard.
Las Piñas City police chief Lt. Col. Jaime Santos confirmed in a textual content message to INQUIRER.web on Friday that they filed complaints for bodily accidents, grave threats, and violation of the Omnibus Election Code in opposition to the youthful Teves on Wednesday.
Teves was earlier caught on video beating up a safety guard in a subdivision in Parañaque City.
According to the safety guard, the incident occurred after he barred Teves, from getting into BF Homes Parañaque subdivision by the Concha Cruz gate in Las Piñas City as a result of his car automobile didn’t have the required resident’s sticker.
The youthful Teves has since resigned as Negros Oriental Board Member and apologized for the incident.
