When is Fleet Week in San Francisco 2021?

SAN FRANCISCO’S Fleet Week is known as a Bay Area annual tradition to honor the men and women who are servings in America’s armed forces.

This year, the event is held at San Francisco’s 74-acre Marina Green located between Fort Mason and the Presidio.

When is Fleet Week in San Francisco 2021?

The 2021 event is being held from October 5 to October 11 and feature countless events and musical guests along with the historic air shows.

Tickets for the airshow’s range from $85 to $325 depending on the seat.

This year’s event is sponsored by United Airlines.

When was San Francisco’s first Fleet Week?

2021 marks 40 years of the San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW).

The first event dates back to 1981 when former Mayor Dianne Feinstein led the nation in celebrating America’s sea services.

According to their website, SFFW “honors the contributions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces while advancing cooperation and knowledge among civilian- and military-based Humanitarian Assistance personnel.”
